Create SR Based on Contract Number Fails With Error "No Valid Contracts Found". (Doc ID 2421858.1)

While trying to create a service request (SR) based on contract number, by selecting a contract from the LOV, following error is displayed on SR Form.When try to search for a service contract in SR form, error message described below is displayed.

"No valid contracts found"
Neither customer nor instance information are required in SR.  Business scenario is that the teleservice agent doesn't know the customer and/or equipment information, only the contract is informed to create the SR.
LOV returns all contracts created in Service Contracts module, when select one service contract with a service item and covered instance related, message is displayed.
