GLOOAP: Open Period Using Ledger Set Causes Duplicate Balances and Balance Corruption For A Different Ledger Each Period (Doc ID 2422951.1)

When opening a new period using a ledger set, balance corruption occurs.
Sometimes duplicate balances are created, other times there is data corruption in the balances.
Each time a new period is opened balance corruption occurs for a different ledger.

Expect to not have duplicate balances and data corruption every month after opening a new period.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. (N) GL Responsibility > Setup > Open/Close Period
2. Enter parameters and select Open Period.
3. The period successfully opens, but different ledgers have balance corruption.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users have to identify and correct balance corruption every month, which is very time consuming.
