Cannot Reschedule Steps In OPM Batch, Get Error, "FRM-92102: A network error has occurred" (Doc ID 2423381.1)

On : 12.2.6 version, Batches

When attempting to Reschedule a step by changing the planned completion date, the cursor spins for a while and eventually
the following error displays.

FRM-92102: A network error has occurred.
The Forms Client has attempted to reestablish its
connection to the Server 1 time(s) without success.
Please check the network connection and try again later.

This is occurring for both Pending and WIP steps.
It is occurring regardless of whether they answer Yes or No to the question about recalculating the planned start date.
All of the checkboxes on the Reschedule Step dialog box are unchecked.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Production Supervisor > Batch Steps > Actions > Reschedule Step
2. Change planned completion date

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot reschedule steps.
