Last updated on JULY 23, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (Hong Kong) - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version, Hong Kong Payroll, IR56B Annual Employers Return Hong Kong

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

Problem illustration using an example.

1. Period Dates of Other Rewards 2 in IR56B:

Emp Hire Date: 15-May-2017
Employee has two elements (recurring and non-recurring) feeding to the balance IR56_K2
Nonrecurring element is entered in the first period (15-May-2017 to 31-May-2017)
Recurring element is entered in the subsequent period (effective from 30-Aug-2017)

'IR56B Annual Employers Return Hong Kong' is showing the Start Date of the period of 'Other Reward 2' (under Item K) as 30-Aug-2017 instead of 15-May-2017.

2. Period Dates of Salary in IR56B:

Also, there is issue with Salary element in Section 11. If there is an update to the Salary (recurring) element, the start date period shown in the report is the effective start date of the update. Like, in the above example,

Salary element effective start date: 15-May-2017
Salary updated effective from: 01-Jan-2018
Dates in the report: 01-Jan-2018 to 31-Mar-2018 instead of 15-May-2017 to 31-Mar-2018

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
'IR56B Annual Employers Return Hong Kong' should show the period as expected.
