12.2 E-Business Suite Concurrent Programs Fail With Error 'stat_low = 8 stat_high = 0 emsg was terminated by signal 11' And A Core Dump Is Generated For Rwrun

Symptoms
E-Business Suite 12.2 Concurrent Processing, Request Processing related issues
E-Business users report Concurrent Programs fail with the following error:
'stat_low = 8B stat_high = 0 emsg:was terminated by signal 11'
For example when users submit the autoinvoice Interface/ Revenue Recognition concurrent program it fails with the above error and the following appears in /var/log/messages:

{Date / Timestamp} ebsappsdev abrtd: 'post-create' on '/var/spool/abrt/ccpp-2018' exited with 1
{Date / Timestamp} ebsappsdev abrtd: Deleting problem directory '/var/spool/abrt/ccpp-2018
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
When running $APPLORC userid=apps mode=character report=$FND_TOP/reports/US/FNDSCURS.rdf batch=yes destype=file desname=FNDSCURS.txt desformat=$FND_TOP/reports/HPL.prt
Due to the issue customers are uUnable to run critical Production reports.
