Cust Form: Contact Entry or Update Requires Entry of an Address

Information in this document applies to any platform.
On R12 version, Customer Form requires an address when creating or updating a contact.
Entry or update to a contact via the customer form should not require an address for the contact.
The party site number is required for the contact address because the profile HZ: GENERATE PARTY SITE NUMBER is set to NO.
This is causing the form to demand entry of a value for the party_site_number when entering details for the contact.
Patch 10142275: ENTERING CONTACT INFORMATION IN AR IS REQUIRING ADDRESS INFO TO BE ENTERED has been applied.
