PAYWSRQP - Run QuickPay
Symptoms
When attempting to rollback a Payroll process (for example: QuickPay, Payroll Run), the following error occurs:
APP-07507: Assignment action interlock rule failure
Scenario 1:
Employee has 2 assignments with different payrolls
Assignment #1 -
- QuickPay was run.
- This QuickPay needs to be rolled back.
- There are no subsequent payrolls ran for this assignment.
Assignment #2 -
- Payroll and Transfer to GL were run.
- This run cannot be rolled back.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Using HRMS Manager responsibility.
- Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Search for the affected employee.
- Click on Assignment > Other > QuickPay.
- Try to rollback the process.
Scenario 2:
- Employee has 2 assignments.
- Primary Assignment is processed in a Payroll.
- Secondary Assignment is processed in a Payroll.
- Primary Assignment is rolled back.
- Error is encountered.
