Applications Management Pack 13.1.1.1.0 for E-Business Suite, Patch Application Issues

 

 

 

 

 

 

When attempting to complete Post-Patching steps for <Patch 26577903>, running the below command fails with the errors documented below:

./emctl register oms metadata -service jobTypes -file /app/oracle/oms13c/plugins/oracle.apps.ebs.oms.plugin_13.1.1.1.0/metadata/jobTypes/ebs_endBlackoutInstance.xml -pluginId oracle.apps.ebs -sysman_pwd symanpwd

(Note that command, jobtype and function names are case-sensitive)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply Patch 26577903
2. Run command: ./emctl register oms metadata -service jobTypes -file /app/oracle/oms13c/plugins/oracle.apps.ebs.oms.plugin_13.1.1.1.0/metadata/jobTypes/ebs_endBlackoutInstance.xml -pluginId oracle.apps.ebs -sysman_pwd symanpwd  as per Patch README
