Symptoms

On : 12.2.7 version, Manager Self Service

While navigating through Manager self service>Transfer function, encountered below error:

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
ORA-06512: at "APPS.HR_UTIL_MISC_SS", line 2601

 

Steps to Reproduce:


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Manager Self Service.

  2. Go to Transfer function, application is giving above error.
