R12 PRC: Update Project Summary Amounts is failling with the errors Program was terminated by signal 9 and ORA-03114 (Doc ID 2431406.1)

Symptoms

When running the PRC: Update Project Summary Amounts the following error occurs:

ERROR

Program was terminated by signal 9
APP-FND-01564: ORACLE error 3114 in close_server_files
 
Cause: close_server_files failed due to ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE.
ORACLE error 3114 in AFPRSR-Resubmit_Time
Cause: AFPRSR-Resubmit_Time failed due to ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE
Routine AFPCMT encountered an ORACLE error. ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE
Routine AFPPRD has encountered a fatal error. ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE


Changes

 The patch 10324576 was already applied which delivered fdprep.lc 120.10.12010000.7
