Error When Syncing From Oracle Field Mobile Service "The username or password you entered is incorrect" (Doc ID 2435457.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.6, Multiplatform Sync Errors

Upon trying to sync using Oracle Mobile Field Service get the following error

ERROR

""The username or password you entered is incorrect"

ISSUE SCOPE
-----------------
Issue is specific to some users. Not all users .

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Oracle Mobile Field Service Multi Platform Application using one of the problematic users
2. Click Sync
3. On the Sync page click Sync

Observe the above error
