Seeing an Error When Processing MTL_TRANSACTION_INTERFACE Internal Order Transactions: The Remote Call failed due to a time out (Doc ID 2443242.1)

Symptoms

The following error may be seen as the error in the MTL_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE table:

      The Remote Call failed due to a time out


The following may be seen in the INV Debug log:

      P_MESSAGE_TYPE ==> W
      P_MODULE_NAME ==> wsh.plsql.WSH_SHIP_CONFIRM_ACTIONS.INV_INTERFACE_TRIP_STOP
      msg_buffer ==> Inventory Interface could not process some of the lines in the batch as they are in error status.  Please query the lines using the Inventory Interface UI to correct the errors.
      W:Inventory Interface could not process some of the lines in the batch as they are in error status.  Please query the lines using the Inventory Interface UI to correct the errors.
