Launching EBS URL is not working when the port number is not included (Doc ID 2450391.1)

Symptoms


Had enabled SSL on EBS 12.1.3 and it works as expected, however end users are not able to open the application when the URL does not include the port number.

i.e

If enter:

              https://myserver.mydomain.com:4443

 works fine, but if enter

             https://myserver.mydomain.com

  get error: This page cannot be display.



Changes

 Removed the port number from the URL.
