Can You Mass Update US National Identifier Formatting?

Goal
On : 12.1.3 version, People Management
We were formatting our employees SSN format as 123456789(without dashes). Now as per the business requirement, we want to update the SSN Format to 123-45-6789. We have updated the profile option- HR:National Identifier Validation in Oracle HCM to enforce the 123-45-6789 format, which will update the formatting going forward. This is enabled only at the responsibility level. But the data already present in the table won't be updated. Can you suggest any available resource to update the existing US SSNs in the system from without dashes to with dashes format?
