Not Able to Hire an Applicant with Future Applications that have Updates Made After Hire Date (Doc ID 2462516.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

While hiring an applicant against an accepted application, if there are any other un-accepted applications with future dated updates with reference to hire-date the following error occurs:

ORA-20001 There must not be any future assignment actions arising after the
change effective date.

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Manager Self-Service responsibility
     
  2. Navigate: Applicant Hire and Rehire
     
  3. Attempt to hire an employee for an applicant on day earlier than the latest Application
