Player Home Button Is Not Working With IE11 For Pdf After Upgrade To 12.2.7 (Doc ID 2463071.1)

Symptoms


It has been observed that, The home button on the Course Player is not working for the PDF document associated Course when using the Internet Explorer 11 browser, but works for other format of courses.


STEPS
-----------------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login using "Employee Self Service" Responsibility.

2. Navigate to Learning Management --> Learner Home.

3. List of courses that are enrolled for the Employee are shown.

4. Click on Play button against one of the courses, which is a PDF Content.

5. In the opened up page, Click on the "Show All Content" button on the Browser Prompt.

6. One another windows operating system prompt opens up and in that select the option "Leave This Page".

7. Now the PDF Document of the Course is opened up in the browser.

8. Now observed that, the Home button on the Course Player doesn't work, thus avoiding the completion time from getting captured against the course.

3. Stopped to work after Upgraded to R12.2.7 from R12.1.3
