Using The Clear Button In The Material Workbench Makes Some Fields Inactive and Gives Error FRM-41014 (Doc ID 2463184.1)

Symptoms

The Clear button is being used to perform additional queries in the Material Workbench.
Two issues are being encountered when clicking the button:

  1. Receive the following error:

    FRM-41014: Cannot set attribute of null canvas item MATERIAL_QF.ORGANIZATION_ID
  2. The following fields are no long active/searchable (are greyed out):

    • Description
    • Status
    • Category Set
    • Category

Steps

  1. Navigate: Inventory > On-hand, Availability > On-hand Quantity
  2. Perform a forms query.
  3. Click the Clear button and receive the error and notice some fields that were searchable previously are no longer searchable.
