Can One Set Profile Option "QP: Negative Pricing" At Responsibility Level? (Doc ID 2463359.1)

In Standard Oracle Profile Option QP: Negative Pricing profile option is enabled only at Site and Application level.
Our Requirement is to enable this profile option at Responsibility level and set the same based on Responsibility access.

We tested the same (Enabling the profile option at Responsibility level) and it works.
We would like to have inputs form oracle support on below points;
1) Is changing this profile option at Responsibility level supported? Does it break any support agreement?
2) Are there any known negative effects?
3) Why did Oracle seed it to NOT be updatable at the responsibility level?
