Agile to EBS PIP ECO Creation Failure Due to Incorrect Component Attributes Passed from PIP ? (Doc ID 2465731.1)

On : 12.1.3 version, Change Management

When sending ECOs from Agile to EBiz using PIP, ECO creation fails. There is no meaningful error on EBiz side or PIP.

Org Code: &Org_Code ECO Name: &ECO_Name Err Msg: Entity Id: BO Message Text: An error occured while processing business object &ECO_Name in organization &Org_Code.

Please check the data in this business object and re-run the import process. -> ECO Name: &ECO_Name -> Org Code: &Org_Code

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Try to release ECO from Agile > See error in PIP

XML would show as below, This would indicate the incorrect data being provided to ECO -

This will result in error that can be viewed in the trace file  - You cannot have Mutually Exclusive Options because the component &REVISED_COMPONENT_NAME is not a Model or Option Class item.
