Form:OKSAUDET.FMB - Service Contracts Authoring
Service Contracts Line Price is not calculated correctly, the wrong price calculated for Covered Product
Time UOM conversions are used instead of real calendar.
Price list - contains item 'I1' with a price for Year = 258
Service Contract 'C1' created for 6 Months
Now, you may expect the price 129, but instead you see the price was calculated as 127.23, but according to Time UOM Conversions the following rules are used:
Year has 365 days and Month has 30 days
365/258 = 0.70685 - price per day
0.70685 * 30 = 21.2055 - price per month
21.2055 * 6 = 127.233 - price per 6 months, rounded it's 127.23 (as given in the contract)
If the profile option QP: Time UOM Conversion is changed to 'Oracle Contracts' the calculation changes as follows:
258 is Primary UOM Price (as defined in Price List)
258 * 6/12 (number of months in the year) = 129 (price for 6 months)
