Symptoms
After running the GMF_ITEMCOST_PUB.DELETE_ITEM_COST API to delete Item and Fixed overhead costs, attempting to enter new costs, either with the API's or from the standard forms, gives a duplicate error message.
From API:
Error 2222: Error : Cannot create Item Cost details since item cost exists for Organization ID: XXX Inventory Item ID: YYY Period ID: YYY Cost Type ID: ZZZ
From Item Costs form:
Error APP-GMD-84395: Duplicate Record
