How to setup and use Ingredient Item substitutions in Oracle Process Manufacturing

We would like to use the "Item Substitutions" standard functionality to be able to do Ingredient substitutions on formulas.

Can you please let us know where can we find complete information on how to set up and use it?

Also, how should this be set up on the standard costing side, in order to be able to cost the OPM Batch correctly for the substitute item(s) used on the formula?
