AME Does Not Supress Repeated Approver When AME Rule Is Deactivated Or Approval Group Is Changed
(Doc ID 2472633.1)

Applies to:
Oracle Approvals Management - Version 12.2.7 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
AME does not suppress repeated approver when AME rule is deactivated or approval group is changed.
Although Configuration variable for Purchase Requisition Approval is set to once per transaction, if ame rule is deactivated or approval group was changed and requisition in process status, AME will add once again same approver in the list although he already approved it.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Have Rule1 which will insert approval group A with approver A.
2) Submit requisition
3) Approver A approves requisition, notification is sent to some next approver C based on rules.
3) Create approver group B with same approver A, remove approval group A from rule1 and add approval group B (with same approver A)
4) After approver C approves requisition, approval notification is sent again for approval to Approver A.
Same happens if user deactivates rule1 and create rule2.
There is no workaround for this case, as daily we have hundreds of documents in process and it is not possible to stop approval process each time a change in AME rules is needed.
