Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Applications Framework - Version 12.2 to 12.2.8 [Release 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In 12.2, rich UI features for classic tables, advanced tables, and HGrids are introduced.

Rich Table interactions include column resizing, column reordering, horizontal scrolling, and detaching table.

This feature is enabled by default and controlled by FND: Enable Rich Table Interactions / FND_ENABLE_RICH_TABLE_INTERACTIONS profile option.

Every time the user does an interaction such as delete a column from view or resize a column, the user level personalization is updated.

This note provide a simple hands on example on using "Inspect MDS Contents" Button to examine Rich Table Interactions Personalization.

Please note that FND: Diagnostics / FND_DIAGNOSTICS should be set to yes in order to see this button.
