Symptoms

Problem Statement:

An employee has had a mid month salary change processed and this is calculating incorrectly based on the days in the month

tried to pay 27 days instead of 23

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Change employee salary mid period 30-Oct-2018

  2. Run payroll and see incorrect proration of salary
     
  3. His salary is getting calculated incorrectly. The SOE messages show:


ANNUAL SALARY: Annual Value is 35565 FTE is 1 for 12 days from 16-OCT-2018 to 29-OCT-2018.
ANNUAL SALARY: Annual Value is 39085.94 FTE is 1 for 15 days from 30-OCT-2018 to 15-NOV-2018

Correct Calculation expected :
Old salary is from 16th October to 29th October which is 10 working days
New salary is 30th October to 15th November which is 13 working days
