Unable To Initiate Return On Global Deployment - Employee Deployment Record For Return is Not Showing (Doc ID 2476815.1)

Symptoms



An employee was deployed from BG_ID 385(Nigeria) to BG_ID 384(Kenya)   The employee now needs to be deployed to BG_ID 84(Indonesia).

In an effort to do this, the following actions were taken:

1.  Deploy employee from BG_ID 385 (Nigeria) to BG_ID 384(Kenya)
2.  Return the employee to BG_ID 385 (Nigeria), however, the employee is not available for return
    in the Global Deployments page.



OBSERVATION:

When viewed in the Professional User Interface (PUI)
The assignment in the Destination BG is Active
The assignment in the Source BG is Suspend Assignment

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.  Deploy employee from BG_ID 384(Kenya) to BG_ID 385(Nigeria)
2.  Return the employee to  384(Kenya), however, the employee is not available for return in the Global Deployments page.
3.  This appears to be the same issue in Note: 2310054.1  APP-PER-449770: This employee is seconded to a different business group, however the note does not resolve this issue.
