On : 12.1.3 version, Transactions Related
When attempting to change the receipt method for a complete transaction, the following error occurs:

APP-AR-295276: You must select an instrument for this receipt method.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Receivables Manager
2. Navigation: Transactions > Transactions
3. Query a complete invoice and change the receipt method to an automatic receipt method > Save
BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot modify the receipt method
