Blank Notification is Received When Timecard is Rejected and Modified (Doc ID 2486809.1)

Why a blank notification is getting triggered for OTL time card submission ?

Two notifications are generated when approver rejects the timecard, then the timecard owner re-submits it. One notification is correct sent to the

approver and it is opened, the other is a blank and closed notification sent to the wrong approver

Below are the steps to replicate:

Step 1: Saving the timecard with Project A

Step 2 : Submitting Timecard.

Step 3 : Approver Rejects the timecard

Step 4: Edit the Rejected Time Card. Delete the existing project A and create new entry with Project B

Step 5 : Submit timecard

Step 6 : Submit Background Process and verify number of workflows triggered for this user. There are 2 notifications: first one sent properly to Project Manager of Project B and an empty notification triggered : notification with 0 Hours sent to Project Manager of Project A

OTL Analyzer shows also BLANK_NOTIFICATION in the workflow
