Carryover Expiry Date Is Not Working As Expected (Doc ID 2490285.1)

Symptoms

Carryover Expiry date Is Not Working as Expected

Requirement: Need to carryover 5 days from last year balance to current year and it has to be expired every year last day of Feb month.
After last days of Feb, staff is not eligible for apply carryover leave and he/she can use only current year balance.

Carryover Expiry date Is Not Working as Expected and it’s not expiring in month of Feb and it’s available throughout the current year.
 

Expected behavior is for the carryover to expire by end of the Feb month.


Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Employee (10051) has 5 days Annual Leave Accrual Plan Carried Over
  Navigation: FastPath > Accruals > Find and see.

2. Go to People Form > Enter and Maintain > Click on Assignment > Click on entries
  > Click on Entry Values
 
Verify below:
Element Created: Annual Leave Accrual Plan Carried Over
Effective date: 01-Jan-2018
Expiry Date: 28-Feb-2018
Carry over Plan Days: 5

3. Now, expected that above 5 days should be expired after 28-Feb-2018 but still employee able to apply as below:
  When employee will apply 01-Mar-2018 to 5-Mar-2018 (5 Days) system is accepting.

4. Expectation is that system will stop employee to apply carry over leave after Feb end.
