Applies to:

Oracle Shipping Execution - Version 12.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On :  12.2.5 version,

In the Release Sales Orders form , the following error is raised when populating a Release Rule which contains a staging locator value.
In addition, on the Inventory tab, Staging Locator Field,  the value that is populated contains an additional '..' (2 dots) after the value.  ( ie. XYZ..)
If user removes value from the field and then clicks the LOV and selects the same Locator from the list (without the dots ) then pick release works with no errors raised.

APP-FND-01048: Use of this combination restricted by WHERE clause ((DISABLE_DATE > SYSDATE OR DISABLE_DATE IS NULL) AND NVL(SUBINVENTORY_CODE,'X') = NVL('XXXX STAGE','X'')

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Responsibility : Oracle Order Management Super User
2. Shipping
3. Release sales Order
4. Open Release Sales Orders For Picking Form
    a) Enter Rule "<RULE_NAME>".
    b) Enter order number and hit Concurrent or Execute Now.
    c)  Error is raised.
