WF Mailer crashes with 'ILLEGAL WHITESPACE IN ADDRESS' due to undeliverable emails (Doc ID 2497199.1)

Symptoms

Upon receiving and processing an E-mail that has an invalid From value, such as a whitespace but no E-mail address, the inbound processing crashes with an address exception

Basically When a notification with Invalid FROM value lands up in the IMAP account the mailer crashes

: oracle.apps.fnd.wf.mailer.NotificationFormatter.handleAddrEndTag]:Exception occurred while parsing the Recipient Address

->javax.mail.internet.AddressException: Local address contains control or whitespace in string `` setting the recipient address as
