Duplicate Names While Selecting Approvers For ECO (Doc ID 2501936.1)

On : 12.2.4 version, Change Management

If there are 2 or more employees having the same name/first name but having different user names in the application, when creating a ECO, the "assign to" field redirect to the page where the user can select the employee to whom the ECO will be assigned to. In this page, there are several fields including the name of the employee and the corresponding username.

After selecting the user name the ECO is saved and, later on, when the customer is trying to change the ECO and reassign it, the assignee field redirects to a new page where the username is no longer available.
In the absence of the username field, if the company has 2 or more employees having the same name, the customer is not able to know which of them he should select according to the employee role.


The "Change ECO" - "Reassign" window should include also the field username or some field to differentiate between the two employees having the identical names.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. PIM responsibility
2. Development manager - Change management - Create change order - Assign / Change order

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot select approvers.
