Symptoms
Oracle Payments has been integrated with Paymetric Payment System.
The following profile options have been properly set:
- IBY: Network Timeout (suggested value: 180000 which is equivalent to 3 minutes)
- "ICX: Oracle Payment Server URL" same as "IBY: ECAPP URL" (pointing to current location of Oracle Payments engine)
Paymetric payment system rejects authorization and settlement transactions with the following error messages.
ERROR from Automatic Receipts/Remittances Execution Report:
IBY_0005: Payment system specific error. Check payment system error code or payment system error message for more information. (IBY_0005)
ERROR from Submit Offline Transaction program logs:
RESPONSE
Status : 0005 - BEP returned error
Error Code :
Error Msg : Exception thrown in the BEP cartridge servlet.
ERROR from iby.log file:
OapfVendErrmsg: Exception thrown in the BEP cartridge servlet.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
A. For Authorization transactions:
1. Login as Oracle Receivables User
2. Run Automatic Receipts/Remittances program
B. For Settlement transactions:
1.Login to Funds Capture Process Manager
2 Requests>Run Submit Offline Transactions concurrent program
