Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Demand Processor Related Issue

When attempting to process release schedule,
the following error occurs.

Process Status ERROR
  customer_item_id ==> 1746007
v_ErrorMessage ==> No Customer Item found in the MTL_CUSTOMER_ITEMS table with the specified criteria.
  v_ErrorCode ==> APP-43037
EXCEPTION: RLM_WARN_NO_PRIMARY_UOM
: RLM_INVENTORY_ITEM_INACTIVE
x_lines_rec.uom_code ==> FE
  x_lines_rec.INVENTORY_ITEM_ID ==> 159788
  x_lines_rec.ship_from_org_id ==> 223
  Exiting VALIDATEUOM - EXCEPTION: RLM_UOM_INACTIVE

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Release Management responsibility
2. In the Demand Processor attempt to process
ScheduleType ==> PLANNING_RELEASE
3. See errors

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot process ScheduleType ==> PLANNING_RELEASE.
