Unable to Attach Description and Title files that are more than 256 characters (Doc ID 2506774.1)

Symptoms

1) Upload the file in attachment and if the file size is less than 256 characters, then its fine and file will be uploaded correctly and title name will be truncated till 80 characters.

2) If file size is more than 256 characters in English,  the file and file description and title name uploaded  will be truncated to 256 and 80 respectively.

3) If file size is more than 256 characters in Cyrillic, EBS accepts  the file and truncates the description and the title name

but clicking on Save button to save the File attached.

You get the error  'You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact your System Administrator for assistance'.

Changes

 multibyte language of more than 256 characters cannot be displayed for file description and title name.
