Symptoms

Problem


When attempting to export records from salary management, the following error occurs:

java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1
at java.lang.String.substring(String.java:1932)
at java.lang.String.substring(String.java:1905)
at oracle.apps.bne.utilities.BneURLUtils.hasSameDomain(BneURLUtils.java:400)
at oracle.apps.bne.utilities.BneURLUtils.isBneSafeRedirect(BneURLUtils.java:379)
at oracle.apps.bne.integrator.document.template.BneTemplateRedirectService.handleRequest(BneTemplateRedirectService.java:163)

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. UK HRMS Manager

2. Navigate: People > Salary Management > Query Records

3. Clicks Tools > Export Data

4. Select Excel 2010 as the Viewer > Click Next

5. Select the Required Layout > Click Next
