R12: OIE: How to Fix a 'Receipts Missing' Notification Triggered For an Old Expense Report (Doc ID 2510807.1)

(i) Employee M, Marie submitted report EXP1234 in July 2017. AP invoice_id = 123456 was created.

(ii) but, now in January 2019 (ie. approx 1.5 years later), Employee M, Marie received a notification that states

Subject: Expense EXP1234 receipts missing (509 days)
To M, Marie
Report Submit Date 07-Jul-2017 00:00:00

How to fix the issue so that the 'Receipts Missing' notification getting triggered for the old expense report?
