Email Stuck At Oracle Retry Folder Due To Java Exception 'javax.mail.MessagingException: Failed to load IMAP envelope' (Doc ID 2512785.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to reprocess the email stuck in retry folder, the following error occurs.

at com.sun.mail.imap.IMAPMessage.getFrom(IMAPMessage.java:194)

at oracle.apps.iem.emta.broker.PrepBroker.getQueueData(PrepBroker.java:472)
at oracle.apps.iem.emta.broker.PrepBroker.preprocess(PrepBroker.java:345)
at oracle.apps.iem.emta.broker.PrepBroker.procMails(PrepBroker.java:186)
at oracle.apps.iem.emta.broker.BrokerHandler.procMail(BrokerHandler.java:75)
at oracle.apps.iem.emta.controller.Worker.run(Worker.java:156) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619)


Steps to reproduce

1. Check if emails are stuck in retry folder in Mail Client where the IEM is configured.
2. Navigate to (R) Email center administrator -> Email Center administration -> Monitoring -> Download Processor.
3. Check the error details for the corresponding email account
