Symptoms

In standard costing organization, when enabling Costing Enabled on Organization Item form, the following error occurs;

APP-FND-1934: UNEXP_ERROR: ORA-20000: MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_T1: S20: ORA-20001: unique constraint (BOM.CST_ITEM_COSTS_U1) vi

ORA-06512 at: MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_T1", LINE 107 ora-4088: error druing execution of trigger APPS.MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_T1" in Package INV_ITEM_PVT Procedure Update_Org_items

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Inv > Items > Organization Items  > Costing tab
  2. Enable Costing Enabled Check.
