Unable To Change The Shiping Location Id On Sales Order (Doc ID 2515121.1)

When attempting to change the Shipping location id on sales order, the following error occurs:

"Your change invalidates the customer Item Number on the Line".

OM debug log generated while receiving the above error also shows the following error:

l_error_message: Inactive Customer Item Cross Reference found in MTL_CUSTOMER_ITEM_XREFS table.
p_x_line_rec.ordered_item_id: XXXXX


 No changes.
