User Management - Security Report -Advance Search Error (Doc ID 2518389.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.6 version,User management Security report 

When attempting to run the security report from UMX
the following error occurs.

java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Log into E-Business suite  with a user that has access to User Management
(USER_A)
-- Logged in as SYSADMIN first
-- USER MANAGEMENT > USERS > Query USER_A
-- Update > Assign Roles > Security Administrator > Apply

2. As USER_A Go to User Management->Security Reports
3. On the UMX Security Reports page, submit a report to run offline with the
following parameters:
Report Type List of Users
For a Given Role/Responsibility then choose System Administrator
View As MS-Excel then choose Generate Offline
Click on Show Advanced Search
User Name - <LEAVE BLANK>
User Status Active
Assignment Type All
Assignment Status Active
Then click on Go to submit the report.
4. Next click on the report status link to get to the Report Status page

 



BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot access the List of users report

Changes

UMX Security Report for List of Users for a Given Role/Responsibility View As PDF or MS-Excel Generate Offline with advanced search criteria of User Status

- Active, Assignment Type - All and Assignment Status - Active, the report always completes in error.

If different combinations of filtering are used it seems to run and publish ok.
