Error APP-FND-00654: FDFBDF When Compiling Flexfield "Service Request Links" (Doc ID 2523665.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to compile CS_INCIDENT_LINKS Flexfield,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

APP-FND-00654: FDFBDF: ATTRIBUTE_CONTEXT has not been assigned as a descriptive flexfield column

The flexfield compiler has detected that an unrecognized application column is being assigned to a flexfield segment. Please check the FND_COLUMNS table for data integrity problems


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to (R) Application Developer > Flexfield > Descriptive > Segments
2. Query Application as Service, title as Service Request Links and the table name as 'CS_INCIDENT_LINKS'
3. Click on Freeze Flexfield Definition
4. Click on Compile button
