(Doc ID 2524046.1)
Last updated on JULY 14, 2020
Applies to:
Oracle Field Service - Version 12.2.6 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When creating a parts requirement if the 'Add Items from Charge Estimates' button is used it does not consider the qty already requested in other requirement lines.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The expectation is that the form will automatically calculate the expected quantity..
When selecting the 'Add Items from Charge Estimates' button it should take the quantity from the charge estimates minus the quantity already requested in the parts requirement.
See the following steps for an example:
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
3. Create a parts requirement...
4. On the Requirement line section select 'Add Items from Charge Estimates' button.
A requirement line is added with qty = 5.
change qty = 1 and save .
5. Select 'add items from charge estimates' again. qty defaults to 4 -- this is correct.
change qty =1 and complete requirement line.
6. Select 'add items from charge estimates' again qty defaults to 4...
It should default to 3 as qty = 2 has already been requested in the previous requirement lines.
