CAN EXIT EXPENSE REPORT CREATION WITHOUT RECEIVING A WARNING MESSAGE (Doc ID 2524481.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
(i) user enters an expense report
(ii) during the expense report creation process, user clicks Settings Icon on top right of page (which displays a LOV) - and user selects Preferences
(iii) the Expense Preferences page opens
(iii) user does not receive the warning message "The Changes you made to this page have not been saved. If you continue, the changes will be discarded. Do you wish to continue?"

So, now the user's expense report is lost

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
during expense report creation, user expects to see the warning message "The Changes you made to this page have not been saved. If you continue, the changes will be discarded. Do you wish to continue?"
when they click Settings/Preferences


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. enter an expense report
2. during the expense report creation process, click Settings Icon on top right of page (which displays a LOV) - and select Preferences



BUSINESS IMPACT

users will inadvertently lose their expense reports
