On : 12.2.6 version, Salary Admin
Accessing the forms and returning back to SSHR responsibility able to query the person and update salary of restricted person.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Navigate to Manager Self-Service => Salary Review and query for First Name = < First Name >
Observe that no results are found.
From this page, use the Navigator to go to AP INQUIRY => Invoices => Invoices
Go back to the Salary Administration screen and query for First Name = again.
This time, it returns many entries, Using this method, managers and view and update the salary for any employee.
