Unable to Create Customer Account Using D&B Party Information (Doc ID 2528316.1)

On : 12.2.4 version, Customers Module

Attempt to create Customer Account based on the existing party which has been imported from Dun & Bradstreet(D&B), the following error arise. 


You do not have permission to update third party data.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Search the party which has been imported from D&B
  2. Create Customer Account
  3. Try to save, then Error arise

Looking at the address records in detail, the address has Province value even if it is US country address. Since "Province" field is not shown in US default address style, system attempt to clear province value when saving Customer Account, it result in the error.
