ISSUE

The issues found.

  * After the VM was made available we attempted our normal startup command of the Oracle EBS applications (adstrtal.sh). This took a very long time and some sections of the services errored with timeout messages. We were unable to start the applications after many attempts.
  * Once the startup didn't seem to work we ran the EBS autoconfig script to see if that would clear up any possible issues with the configuration. This hung for over 40 minutes and then completed with errors. It normally completes in about 2 - 3 minutes.
  * Also, rm and extracting from tar seemed to be a little slower from what we are used to seeing.

The issue has the following business impact:
