AU: Issue with End Employment Date in STP Report (Doc ID 2532137.1)

Last updated on APRIL 21, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (Australia) - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Australian Payroll, STP Report

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When a payroll is processed after the Actual Termination Date but before the Final Process Date, the STP report is showing the employment end date as Final Process Date instead of the Actual Termination Date.

Example:

Monthly Payroll

Actual Termination: 17-Jan-2019
Last Standard Process: 31-Jan-2019
Final Process: 31-Mar-2019

Case-1
Run the payroll for the period belonging to the actual termination (31-Jan-2019)
Run STP Archive and STP Report processes
Check the output of 'Generate STP Delimited File'

Output shows "EmploymentEndD>2019-01-17" --- No issue here

Case-2
Enter a bonus element for the subsequent period
Run the payroll for that period (28-Feb-2019)
Run STP Archive and STP Report processes
Check the output of 'Generate STP Delimited File'

Output shows "EmploymentEndD>2019-03-31" --- Issue is that Final Process Date is shown instead of Actual Termination

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The termination date reported should be the Actual Termination and not Final Process

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run Payroll
2. Run Single Touch Payroll Archive
3. Run Single Touch Payroll Report
