Telesales - Universal Search - Error APP-AST-207295: Query Caused No Records To Be Retrieved when using Quick Seach

Symptoms
On : 12.2.7 version, Universal Search
The TeleSales "Quick Search" for organization found no records, although the LOV finds some records.
Records are also returned if using Expanded Search instead of Quick Search
When using "Quick Search" the following error occurs:

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigation path: Telesales Resp > Universal Search > Find "Organization" > Tab "Quick Search" > Select "Organization"
2. Enter first characters of organization name with % at the end
3. Click on "..." (to open LOV)
4. The Organization LOV displays some results
5. Select one result with status active and click OK
6. Click "Search"
7. No result are displayed and the reported error occurs
