Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

Deduction from Earnings Order (DEO) and Attachment of Earnings Order (AEO) deduct incorrect amounts in supplementary run.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. For example,  in the main run employee earned £584.65 and as a result Oracle was not able to deduct  full Child Maintenance Service (CMS) deduction of £328.90 due to the 60% net  protection limit so instead it took £266.58 (£666.45 x 40%).

2. Then in the supplementary run the employee earned an additional £821.25 which should result in  the remaining CMS deduction of £62.32 taken but instead it refunded  £37.55.
